I just came from a week long Mango harvest and packing operation for the benefit of my Puree/IQF factory client. Standard for Puree/IQF processing are not that strict in terms of mango skin appearance unlike what we saw on marketplace and supermarkets. Below are our classification:
- Class C – Puree/IQF Processing
- Class B – We delivered them to local marketplace and supermarkets
- Class A – Export quality
We segregate during harvest
Philippine mangoes now cost high (off season) yet Puree/IQF and other related manufacturers has high demands.
