Banana Powder origin Davao Philippines

Cavendish Banana is here to stay.

A lot of negative articles were written about Cavendish Bananas the past years and months. Yes, there are issues but there is also a solution.  There are circumstances like the effects of covid-19 pandemic and increase of oil that push higher the price of shipping.

Just like other businesses, the industry of Cavendish Banana export was not spared.  But it doesn’t mean that Cavendish Bananas are bound to become extinct.   Do not believe all the negative news you read and hear on the internet.  I am still standing and the Philippine Cavendish banana is here to stay and it is available all year round.  Rest assured that the Philippines is still the 2nd biggest exporter of banana in the world.  It’s unique natural sweet taste and its health benefits are available upon request.  It is the same as what your friends and loved ones have loved since decades ago.  It’s just that the competitors and the exploiter Traders are trying its best to beat us by conditioning consumers and importers to mind that we are no longer here, yet we are still here kicking.  Now is the best time to buy and import but we seek serious partners who are fair enough to understand that we are in support of farmers and the grassroots of society,  As such, we cannot be manipulated by unfair payment terms that only push farmers to poverty and other laborers to severe hardships.

This business is actually among the fast mover and known consistently profitable if flexible enough to adjust to changing times and has ample investment to empower both the farmers and export operation workers.  As my former Kuwaiti client has told me, even in countries where there is war, people will still eat bananas.  As  such, the demand and importation will need to stop.  Also as reported to us, people in countries like China and the Middle East, they look at Philippine bananas as the better ones and they give them to friends and relatives as gifts during special occasions.  Many prefer to give it to their babies and members of the families who need nutritious food.  End buyers also mentioned that Philippine Banana tastes better and naturally sweet unlike other ones that come from other countries.  This is our new brand and we actually seek a partner Investor. If you are interested, we invite you to email us directly at merryheart.stuffs@gmail.com. We will reply either with a quotation or with Pitch Deck and further details if you wish to be part of the company.  Fyi.  The peak buying season has actually started.

One of the best beef there is

I do not think Wagyu will be included among the top eight greatest steaks being served in New York if it is not that special.

Japanese Wagyu is one of the finest beef there is.  A class in its own right and a top choice among great steak chefs.  Nevertheless, authentic Japanese Wagyu are not too many out there and are the only source from Miyazaki Prefecture, a region on the Southern tip of Japan’s Kyushu Island.

What is Wagyu Beef anyway?

Wagyu beef is also known in Japan as Kobe beef, Kōbe-niku, Kōbe-gyū or

Kōbe-ushi  from the Tajima strain of Japanese Black cattle.  They are raised in accordance with governing rules set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.  What makes it distinctive is its meat:

·     Natural delicacy

·     Valued for its flavor

·     Fatty

·     Tenderness

·     Well-marbled texture

Japanese Wagu beef are recommended as steak, sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, sashimi, and teppanyaki.

Historically, the Wagyu Cattles originates from China.  They were brought to Japan in about the second century AD, in the Yayoi period.  Previously, Wagyu Cattles were used only as draught animals, in agriculture, forestry, and mining and for transport, and as a source of fertilizer.  Then, for cultural and religious reasons – the meat was not eaten and milk consumption was unknown.

Japan was isolated from the rest of the world from 1635 until 1854.  Between about 1900 and 1910 there was extensive cross-breeding of these with native stock. From 1919, the various heterogeneous regional populations that resulted from this brief period of cross-breeding were registered and selected as “Improved Japanese Cattle”.  Four separate strains were characterized, based mainly on which type of foreign cattle had most influenced the hybrids, and were recognized as breeds in 1944. These were the four wagyū breeds, the Japanese Black, the Japanese Brown, the Japanese Polled, and the Japanese Shorthorn. The Tajima is a strain of the Japanese Black, the most populous breed (around 90% of the four breeds).

Beef consumption remained low until after World War II. Kobe beef grew in popularity and extended its global reach in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1983, the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association was formed to define and promote the Kobe trademark. It sets standards for animals to be labeled as Kobe beef.  Kobe beef was not exported until 2012. It was exported in January 2012 to Macau, then to Hong Kong in July 2012. Since then, exports have also been made to the United States, Singapore, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

Japanese Citrus at its best

DEPOKON Citrus is originally from Japan

Dekopon is a uniquely shaped citrus known as the most prized citrus fruit in Japan and Korea.  This upcoming harvest season in Japan, we are hoping it will reach Singapore and Hong Kong as well (or other countries that wanted to try).

Dekopon is actually a hybrid between Kiyomi and ponkan (Nakano no.3), a seedless and sweet variety of satsuma orange that was developed in Japan in 1972.  The generic name is shiranuhi or shiranui.  What makes it distinctive is its large size and the large protruding bump on the top of the fruit, its sweet taste, and ease to peel.  Perfect in following the Japanese tradition of offering the best fruit as a gift.
The main photo shows our actual cultivation site with Dekopon fruit trees.  Another photo shows the branded export boxes and how Dekopon looks inside.  At the beginning of the harvest, the Dekopon fruits are very high in acidity.  Our farm workers follow a Japanese storage method to “cure” the fruit, to reduce its tartness.  Upon full maturity, sugar rises, and acidity drops naturally.   Our trees are cultivated in large greenhouses to keep them at a constant temperature and are harvested from December to February (winter in Japan).  After harvesting, Dekopon is usually left for a period of 20–40 days so that the levels of citric acid in the fruit decrease, while the sugar levels increase to make a more appealing taste to market. The production area is Kumamoto, Kyushu, where Dekopon succeeded in mass cultivation for the first time.
Our Dekopon is shipped by air to maintain freshness. The loading port is Kyushu Fukuoka Airport.  Therefore, it is shipped using an air container, and the buyer must go through customs such as plant quarantine. Wholesale-Retail order is also possible if the buyer wishes.• Weight of one box:  around 2 kg• Box size (length, width, height):  19 cm x 33 cm x 17 cm• Number of fruits: 5 to 6• Brix: 11 to 13

We can arrange test samples if there are buyers in Hong Kong and Singapore (or in other countries if they want to trial order).  You can email us directly at merryheart.stuffs@gmail.com for further details or reservations.  Japanese Depokon is usually available from the last week of December till the end of February (winter in Japan).

THE PANDEMIC IS A PAIN IN THE ASS

The coronavirus pandemic hurt almost every business in every country.  No one sees it coming that it would turn domino principle.  It spread like wildfire and governments struggle with countermeasures to both the superpowers and the third world countries.  No clear answer so far even with new vaccines. Need I say more?

I do not need to elaborate on the details but in my humble opinion, I can say that we do not just need a medical solution but also an economic remedy as well.

I am in digital marketing since 2006 and I somehow helped foreign businesses, mostly start-ups or foreign in need of support (e.g American, Iranian, Bulgarian, Kuwaiti, etc.).  Although I am mostly approached for Feasibility Study and Business Plans in the past, recently I was a task with a South Korean Skincare and Cosmetics company.  Below are my most recent works (Links are available for actual viewing):

There’s more:

  • I design the logo
  • I created the Brand
  • I created them Facebook Page and Store
  • I design the Header not just for Facebook, but also for the other sites I register for their business
  • I created proposals (Pitch Deck, Sales Plan, 21 Days Digital Marketing Plan, etc.)

Now that I am about to be finish, I believe I can accpt new clients. If you are interested, you can email me directly at mamita.offer@gmail.com

I have been helping Christian Kids Ministry with free Vacation Bible School School and Sunday School materials for free since 1990s.  This year I was able to help more churches with free eBook format.

Below are my other materials but still in the process completion one at a time.  I am doing it by my self without any financial or material/equipment support from any group anyone.  I am temporarily limited to the Filipino audience (Philippines).  But I am willing to expand to another language if given support assistance.
