My art

I once had an experienced being applauded for my painting exhibit but I became more focus on graphics and event stage designs through the corporate companies that I worked with for more than 13 years.  if given the chance, I wish to exhibit my art again.  I never had a formal education but my experience in Advertising and creative arts made me tried then mix media arts (out of the box form of art painting).  My earliest artwork is “Amazing Grace” (mix media – mix calligraphy and illustration).  It became a favorite among common and professional viewer.  Most of my paintings then were either donated or washed out by a flood that happen in our city years ago due to strong typhoon.  Nonetheless, below are some of my samples…

POCHERO recipe

Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken in typical serving chops
2 medium sized potato cubes 
1 bunch Pechay
1 bundle long green beans, cleaned and ends trimmed
1/2 cabbage
2 large chopped cardaba banana (saba) 
3 pieces chorizo (or Chinese sausage), sliced thinly
1 large tomato, diced
1 medium sized onion, diced
2 tbsp whole pepper corn
2 tbsp fish sauce

Cooking Procedure:
1. Heat pot with small amount of cooking oil and fry the banana until color turns golden brown.  Once done, set the bananas aside
2. Put in the chorizo in the same pot and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes then set aside
3. Sauté the garlic, onion, and tomato
4. Add the Chicken and cook for 5 minutes
5. Add the fish sauce, tomato sauce, and whole pepper corn and mix well
6. Add the water and simmer until meat is tender
7. Put-in the fried chorizo, fried banana, potato, and garbanzos and simmer for 7 minutes
8. Add the cabbage, long green beans and simmer for 5 minutes
9. Add the Pechay and turn off the heat. Cover the pot for 5 minutes to cook
10. Serve hot.
