I could not forget the feedback I got from one of my importers when they move to other countries because of price difference. I was told that the end buyers themselves are complaining when he did that due to obvious reason ….
“bananas from other exporting countries doesn’t taste good as Philippine bananas.” It’s a fact and you can compare it yourself. The genuine Class A Philippine Cavendish Bananas taste naturally sweet and delicious to the last bite. And it is a healthy food for your body. But yes, it should be genuine Class A because scammers and cheaters are everywhere so you should deal only with reputable exporters and traders.
My importers through he could earn more when he bought from other countries because they offer cheaper. He learned his lesson from actual experience as he end up in losses.
Cavendish Banana Plantation in Davao region Philippines alone is as far as the eye can see. One week is not enough to tour and inspect the plantation area as it is actually bigger than a small country like Singapore. It is so huge and you need a trustworthy contact to lead you where are the safe pest-free source and who are the unreliable. The plantation is farther than what your eye can see as it reaches to other region and provinces (e.g. Cotabato, General Santos, Bukidnon, other provinces of Mindanao). But the center of the center is Davao.

Philippine Cavendish Banana is already known for its distinctive deliciously sweet taste in comparable to its competitor nations. That is what makes it a favorite among buyers. Cavendish Banana is one of the Philippine’s best agricultural products, second only to coconut oil. The Philippines is the second largest banana exporter in the world, making the banana industry a consistent top dollar earner having shared 15-18 percent of the total top 10 agricultural exports revenue. But trend change recently due a number of natural and man made calamity:
The problem is severe and one need not be a rocket scientist to figure what is going on. Sadly, the ones widely affected are not just the entrepreneurs and capitalist but the laborers who are earning hand to mouth. These are the packing house workers, the container loaders, drivers, quality inspectors, porters and so on and so forth. Come to think of it, these common workers have babies that needs milk and diapers, and has a family that has basic needs, plus an elderly parent who needs maintenance medicines to survive. This industry employs 503,058 people receiving an estimated 44 billion Philippine Pesos in annual wages. More than three million individuals are dependent on the banana export industry and it also helps mold the future of two million children in Mindanao Philippines. But how can it sustain its support to the nation if the industry is facing with difficulties in finding ways to lower operation cost thus offer lower price competitively?
There are not much buyers recently for small and medium banana traders and exporters, as such, many are not earning enough for their families. It is as simple as that. The main factors are the higher operation cost and fluctuating farm gate price.
Life must go on. We and our families also suffered from the setbacks but cannot stop now as being in this business is not always for profit. We have purpose why we are here. Although we seek solution to resolve major issues, we also welcome support and donations for the benefit of those who are hardly hit — the hand to mouth earning workers and their families. Every time you see Cavendish bananas on your supermarket or at market place, it did not just came there that easy. We are literally exhausting sweat and blood as we are squeezed by importers and quarantine inspectors to perform and produce high standards. Quality costs Nonetheless, fear of not earning enough should not cripple us from doing the things we love.
Since 2007, this business has facilitated deliveries of Cavendish Bananas and other agricultural products to these nations: China, Vladivostok Russia, Bulgaria, Iran, Egypt, Singapore, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. If you can donate or wish to collaborate in supporting the industry especially the hardly affected, please do so. You can email at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
I again did a Rice Wholesale-Retail Business Plan per request of a Cavitena (Filipina). It’s not a “pwede na yan” or copy-paste thing as I immersed, researched a lot and did actual field interviews. Most of the request came from OFW as they can use it to loan capital at OWA.
I can now provide a more detailed and updated Rice Wholesale-Retail Business Plan
Like what I did for other requesting party, I made it as realistic as possible and tailored made, reader friendly and you can already start with your business as there are step by step guide and pricing.
If you are going to pursue your desired business, I need to ask where are you base and where do you intend to establish your Rice Trading business?
I ask because the location is important. Price also fluctuates regularly.
Most who earlier requested are OFW as they are using it to acquire loan at OWA. I also receive request from Foreigners. Are you an OFW?
My Business Plan are far different from works of other maker (“tumbok mo agad through a step by step guide how to start right away. Kita mod din agad ang expenses and income as I did field research and actual operation study). I also visited miller suppliers plan and study variety sample as shown photos.
Other requests in the past are are as follows:
Email me directly at email@example.com@gmail.com if you are interested.
My arts is non-traditional. This time, I am desiring for a craft that is also a potential business:
They maybe old fashioned but this kind of craft are close to the heart of people, especially the children and promote values. As such, there is a market for these and if given the fund grant, it will take a long way in terms of income and return on investment.
Yes, machine made Christmas decors from China are cheaper but handcrafted are still prefer by many as they are natural and heartwarming. If given the chance, I intend to establish a store for such soon. If I will be supported by a grantee or investor, online shop is also possible.
I do not claim ownership to the actual designs and photos. Images are excerpted.
Can’t believe the crazy pricing and fluctuation in Cavendish Banana import-export industry. Buyer still buy even price is crazy high.
We now seek new long term buyers. Interested buyers can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details. See below for actual operation video clips
I am more of an entrepreneur now than an artist. Come to think of it, I was able to established an export-trading business through just capitalizing on my skills and experience in the arts, corporate admin and basic international exposure. I am willing to offer my services to those who need it:

Part 1 (Live-cut Harvest Area)
Cavendish Banana Export is one of the top export earners in the Philippines. But it is not as easy as it sound. There is no short-cut if you want to succeed in it whether you are a grower-farmer, an exporter-trader or an importer. I am facilitating this business since 2007, many do not survive as it is not for the painted-heart. I’ve seen a lot of hopeful business people of all sorts. Most of us who remain standing learn the hard way. The process could not be learn from books and from articles written in the internet. There is no other way but to dive and immerse to the real thing. You can either lean as a group/company or as individual entrepreneur willing to face the challenges and pitfalls.
I was in the corporate sector with well-rounded experience in admin and corporate services, and an awardee for work excellence … my experience is not enough. I have earlier background in Advertising and creative arts to support my sales … not enough. My long years in e-commerce and B2B is not a guarantee that I can easily land a deal nor a safeguard from scams and cheaters. One could not believe that so many are very good in cheating and scamming, and the ones who are sincere are taken for granted or doubted. Let me tour you to the basic process in image presentation:
The center of the center in Cavendish Banana plantation in the Philippines is Davao region. It expands to other provinces across Mindanao. Too huge, as far as the eye can see and one week is not enough to tour the plantation. Where in fact, I can say that the plantation total dimension is bigger than a small country like Singapore.
It took me years to find what I am looking for: Cooperative Well Administer Plantation that can supply according to our standard and tolerance.
Plantation Area should have quarantined entrance-exit points with guard. Not all plantation are reliable as not all growers have ample capitalization for a well maintained, well sprayed and well fertilize banana plantation. Till to this day I am still learning even though I already facilitated export to a number of countries since 2007: China, Vladivostok Russia, Kuwait, Bulgaria, Iran, Egypt, Jeddah Saudi Arabia, Dubai, etc.
Good Plant stand with 5 leaves up.
Professionally Coded both by colored ribbon and markings
Export quality inspected inside-out, with regular report
Live-cut harvest (harvest will not start unless our representative supervisor approve what tree to harvest).
Very careful handling from harvested tree to Aerial Tractor (transport of banana bunches from harvest area to packing-processing plant.
