These are just some of the known brands.

Rest assured that you will be satisfied as we supply same quality with known brands at a lower cost.

Our difference is obviously in its distinct delicious sweet taste.

You may contact me for more details at denissalvatierra@yahoo.com

For your assurance that I am sincere, we can meet with buyer’s-importer’s representative.  Below are the actual operation photos (from plantation to packing house).  I am willing to visit buyer’s office and can bring samples but I need  support by means plane ticket and initial budget as I need to pay the actual packed bananas and pineapple and for my basic allowance for my accommodations and necessities).  I believe I also need letter from buyer to present to immigration upon my arrival in country destination as proof that the items are for sample request (or buyer-importer can just shoulder the DHL cost).  With the samples, I am also willing to give presentation clear folder with documented photos and past shipping documents and my company details.  If there are things the buyer require as proof of my sincerity, kindly mention so I can comply.
As we can also facilitate other products from Philippines, I need to know what among which is needed.  The best way to lower cost is through minimal investment or joint venture with me.  The current pricing now is at its highest rate but will normalize to low soon.  If you are interested, rest assured that I will be supplying KNOWN BRAND QUALITY as my team are former workforce and plantation source of one particular known brand.
Note:  my sincerity goes beyond my words.  Rest assured that I do extra mile and after sales service.
Let me know what you think.  I am willing to provide breakdown and or/or feasibility study and business plan for your assurance that I am sincere to you.  Below is the actual plantation location and facilities used depending on bulk of requirement (I personally took the pictures)

Banana Import Export

Business Venture Proposal

Product:
My primary offer is Cavendish Banana origin Davao Philippines, for export to countries in Europe, Middle East Region and Asia Pacific. I already exported to Bulgaria, Iran, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt.  I aspire to work for you and export to Singapore, South Korea and China as it is nearer than Europe and Middle East. Proof of my past deals are available upon request.
Introduction:
I already established an outsourced team in Davao and they function efficiently even though I administer remotely.  As Singapore is very near Philippines and is consider the hub for commodity trading, I can easily monitor shipments and payment by just having my needed home office with computer and communication gadgets.  I have two brother Singapore (software Engineer and Civil Engineer).  Rest assured that they will assist in any way they can but I need to either joint venture or work in Singapore.

Business Model:
Trading Company with sales-admin office in Singapore, export operations in Davao Philippines
Why in Singapore?  … Singapore is strategically located near our target countries in Asia Pacific and Davao Philippines and declared by World Bank as the cheapest place to set up a business. As such, it will surely be cost effective as the Sales-Admin office will only be set-up at the proponent’s rented flats-residence (No need to rent an office space in a corporate building).
fyi.  An Investor/Joint Venture Partner need not invest large amount right away on this business as I will capitalize on buyer’s down payment.  I can accept whatever can be given as support as initial investment.
Revenue Model:
– Direct Sales Offer
– Join Trade Fair
– Continue Existing Operational Facility in Davao Philippines
– Sales Office in Singapore (near Davao Philippines)
Cavendish Banana Export Business Outlook:
The Philippine banana industry is the 5th largest export industry in the country and the 2nd biggest in Mindanao. In terms of local tax contribution, the banana industry remitted about PhP389 million worth of local taxes in 2008, including Business tax, Real property tax, Residence Certificates of Employees, Withholding tax of employees, Withholding tax at source, and Income tax.
The Philippine banana export industry is the 3rd biggest in the world and the only Asian country among the top 5.
The local industry is not spread out around the country; rather, it is concentrated in Mindanao, the southernmost island among the three main islands of the Philippine archipelago. Beginning in the 1960s in Davao del Norte, the industry has now spread in eleven (11) provinces in Mindanao with some 50,000 hectares of farmland used for planting bananas. In 2008, about 150 million boxes (each box weighing a gross of 14 kilos) were exported to the industry’s main markets, which are: Japan, Korea, HongKong, New Zealand, Brunei, China, Singapore, the Middle East, Indonesia, Russia and Canada. Some of the export-quality bananas are also sold in the Philippine market.

Income Potential:
This business is capable of earning twice within a period of 1 year, 2.5 times that within 2 years and 3 times that within 3 years due to increasing demand. Although India is the number one exporter (may be because of lower price offer), main advantage of our offer is its taste and quality and it is widely favored in many countries.  Feasibility and/or Business Plan is available upon request by an Investor

Growth Strategy

Manageability
The proponent is mature and creative enough to handle complex projects.  The company is very much  flexible and with its venture partner and local team to hand the operations, it can work-out shipment demanded by it clients.
Costs
The price may vary depending on specification requirement, season, and terms.  Nevertheless, this business has its ways to provide rational evaluation of costs.

Competitive Advantage
·  Highly Competitiveness
·  Visible
·  Sincere
·  Offer lower cost of product/s
· Customer care from start to after sale
· Initiate shipment monitoring and risk management

Competition
Competition in this line of business is very slim as the market is global.  Nevertheless, the expectation is very high (export standard) so this business sets its mission in reliability, consistency and profitability to be very focus on customer satisfaction simultaneous with partner cooperation and shareholders’ contentment.  Otherwise, the buying client can easily look for other supplier.

Claims

I am into facilitating export of Cavendish Banana, Rice and other products since 2007 and  above van photo was one of my latest shipment.   Unfortunately due to unexpected circumstances,  the arrival of van was delayed and the ordered item turned out as total loss (vessel’s fault) as per below actual photos provided by 3rd party outsourced inspector (consignee’s).

To avoid large amount of expenses related to fees to be charge by claims lawyer’s and/or insurance underwriter, I was the one ask to handle and the result was quite effective and satisfactory.  This is not the first as my services was also tapped in line with a claim involving an importer with request for refund to his supplier/seller.

I am open to same task if an importer has claims issues.  But I need required documents and reports to be effective on my task.  Below  are the steps I will undertake for you:

1. I will act as your authorized representative (I definitely need notarized Authorization or Special Power of Authority)

2. Contact the contact Shipping Line Customer Service and negotiate the desired claims amount

3. Coordinate with the consignee/buyer’s contact surveyor if necessary (for the written report and photos required)

4. Mitigate cargo loss

I believe I am effective because I follow the tried Claims guide and I personally meet with the right contact persons.  I also develop my own Claims template and require my consignee client to comply with required documents and complete reporting.

My assistance are open to those who needs my services.  I can be reach through my direct email:  denissalvatierra@yahoo.com

Happy Banana New Year!

Other ways to help

Pictures tell it all why most Filipinos are in grief, instead of party mood in anticipation of Christmas season. The author does not claim ownership to the following photos.

Many have cancelled their Christmas parties and instead of celebrating the season’s festive mood, a lot have decided to donated whatever they can afford for the victims through government agencies,  private sector and non-government initiative services (mostly cash, food, clothes).

I appreciate how Filipino values unite us in this time of difficulty.. everyone tries their best to reach out to the victims.  Many are already concentrated to immediate needs giving.  It’s the best thing to do at the moment and I am thankful that many did that.   But if  you are thinking of donating with focus on rehabilitation and long term support, I suggest you also take into consideration the famous quotation as many are already concentrated to immediate needs of victims:

“Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can feed himself for life.”

Per my own knowledge of the area, poverty and abuse of mother nature is the main reason for this devastation. This includes illegal logging, irresponsible mining and abuse of rivers for their livelihood.   The provinces involved are actually rich in natural resources but many are still into poverty due to lack of knowledge and capital funding.

If a foundation or someone is willing to invest, I can extend my support through my experience in Feasibility Study making, Business Plan making and establishing of Packing House Trading Business, Consultancy work and Fund Management in leading donor or investor to reliable people or institution for a longer term development plan.  I can help but I need support for few days/weeks stay in the chosen area inclusive of transportation and miscellaneous expenses.  In my previous visit in the region, many are cheaters and scammers exploiting good people intention.  Donors or institution needs someone who will represent them for their security and their donations.  Same with the buyers and importers, they also need someone who knows the area to avoid being victimized.

I facilitate export of Cavendish Banana, pineapple, sea foods, vegetables and products in the region of Mindanao.  One (1) container van order of banana alone help a lot of localities in the are to move forward with their lives (e.g. many are employed as packing workers, quality inspector, workers from container provider, truck driver and owner). The government earns through taxes.  Below are my previous works and with minimal grant for research and capital funding, many people will have work and earnings for long term effect.  With my business plan or feasibility study, I/you can help many families and Investors/Donors will earn as well through return on investment.   My past work is not to be given right away.  I need grant-support to make what is appropriate for that area. The grant-support will be used for miscellaneous & travel expenses to stay for days or probably weeks, at the same time to know who are eligible to receive grant funding such as private individual, institution or cooperative.

Feasibility Study and Business Plan are both available

I did this Moringa Plantation and Processing Feasibility and Business Plan for developers in Tanzania Africa but was also requested in other countries.   I need further grant if one investor require advance embryo cultivation as this needs to capture the technology from one farm in the Philippines.

Maize/Corn Cultivation and Milling

Hardware and Software Development (Japan Technology)

Rice Grain Trading

Scrap Metal Export and Smelting

I can make one for other type of investment potential.  I can also facilitate livelihood seminar workshop and other form of donation management through the local Pastors and Christian Churches I can tap.   Till to this day, I am in support of  Pastors, churches and communities within my reach through various projects I personally organized (e.g. donation of pencils to school children and Sunday Schools, Free Vitamin A to fight malnutrition as supported by Sight and Life Switzerland, grocery items for Pastors, Newsletter support, Livelihood seminars, Cancer patient support, etc.)

If I can be of help to you or to your foundation, I am willing to offer my services.  I can be reach through my direct email:  denissalvatierra@yahoo.com

I went back to Singapore recently and I was glad that I saw the amazing infrastructure again. Singapore is trully the hub for commodity trading and the cheapest place to establish a business, as per reported by World Bank.  Below are my actual photos

Feasibility Study et al

Above was the latest Feasibility Study I made for two weeks after rigid research, as per requested by an Investor based in UK.

The Cavendish Banana Cultivation and Export Feasibility Study was done a week before I started on my work for the UK Investor.  Such was requested by a Filipino based in Davao Del Norte.

Maize Cultivation for Tanzania and Uganda is my latest project (also requested by the same UK Investor who ask me Moringa Cultivation Feasibility Study).  He is also requesting for Beans Propagation as per below cover page.My other line-up projects are as follows:

– Doing/Establishing your business in Singapore

– Doing/Establishing your business in the Philippines

– Church Building/Multi-purpose Hall Feasibility Study

– Cavendish Banana Import-Export Philippines as per requested by a South Korean

CRITICAL AREAS in LOSS PREVENTION (Cavendish Banana Import-Export)

I am into facilitating Cavendish Banana Import-Export from since 2007.     Since then, I experienced a lot.  Every customer and shipments made are a learning process.   Yes this business is very lucrative but unless you are familiar with the system and risks involve, you will surely end up in a mess of loss of time and money.

To resolve the issues, I formulated my own report based on years of experience, rigid research and consultation.  Below is the result and I titled it as, “Cavendish Banana Import-Export CRITICAL AREAS in LOSS PREVENTION.”   You may want to view it for your reference if you are into this business.  Otherwise, you may just end up in losses and waste of time (especially if you are not that experienced).  My report also includes actual damage report experienced by my client from his former supplier.

To have a bird’s eye view of my report, below is the actual Table of Contents…

  • Low Price Trap in Cavendish Banana Import-Export
  • Basic Checklist
  • Quality / Duration of Storage
  • Packaging
  • Transport
  • RF Temperature
  • Humidity / Moisture
  • Ventilation
  • Biotic Activity
  • Gases
  • Self Heating / Spontaneous Combustion
  • Odor
  • Contamination
  • Mechanical Influences
  • Toxicity / Hazards to Health
  • Shrinkage / Shortage
  • Insect Infestation / Diseases
Although this field is basically sales in nature, finding the lowest price is not enough.  The importer must find first the genuine farm owner-exporter or grower with set standards on harvest, packing operations, loading, shipping and customer relations.  There are lots one can find in the internet but in reality, the genuine are hard to find as most in the internet are mere trading firms or middle men companies.  To find the genuine, first, an importer must cooperate with someone who knows where the genuine farm owner/grower are, and willing to lead you directly to them.  Second, the importer needs his contact to monitor the operations until bananas are shipped and reached the port of destination in good shape and expected freshness.  That is  Risk Management or Loss Prevention.  An importer cannot just rely the matters in the hands of the supplier, especially if the destination is as far as Middle East, Europe and Russia.  It has to be delegated to trusted experienced someone, or face the consequences caused by lack of understanding and monitoring team.
Another thing.
Right Container provider, right set temperature and ventilation is also very important.   At the same time, below suggestion is very crucial:
1. Pre-survey of the plantation is a must

2. Hire Quality Inspector/s to check harvests (live-Cut!)

3. To hire Quality Inspector to supervise packing line at the weighing and selection point

4. Clear and specific purchase and cutting order to the growers/farmers

5. Someone to random check on delivery before loading into the container

6. Securing of the cut-off time to secure maximum 12 hours between cut and cooling.  At the same time, counter check set temperature and ventilation.

7. Inspection of the fruit thru the Bureau of Plant Industry (Department of Agriculture and SGS).

8. Others as the need arises.

More details are clarified with recommendations on issues at my report.

Cavendish Banana Importer/Exporter first need a Feasibility Study

An importer/exporter/investor needs a Feasibility Study first to manage risk and avoid waste of time and losses of money.

I can quote right away to requesting importer/buyer, through the company I represent (I represent a trading company).  But to educate importers and buyers for them to manage risk and avoid disappointments, I am willing to offer my sincere services .  I can provide a credible feasibility study based on actual survey and direct visit to farms and farm owners.  I already help a number of importers from Middle East and Europe.  I am also offering my services to other importers as well.  Otherwise, importer who just inquire and order may result to head ache as they do not know whom they trade with and the systems involve in it.  This is risking large amount of money and in the end the trial and error commonly lead to waste of time and money.

I can lead importers and investors to farm owners and/or direct exporters to get low price, at the same time do a feasibility study for a systematic approach and system.  I had clients who availed of these services but I need budget for the following:
1. Plane fare round trip to Davao from Manila (farm locations are very far and risky for first time visiting foreigner importers)
2. Accommodations for a week or two of stay in Davao
3. Food allowance
4. Land transportation allowance.
5. Miscellaneous expense
Below is the actual video taken in the heart of Cavendish Farms in Davao for my client in Europe:
Feasibility Study is very important to be very sure of more profit, reliability of whom the importer will cooperate with, risk management, etc.

Most Grower’s and Trader’s offer:
Class A    456 hands per 13.5kg box
FOB Davao – to be given upon request
Class A/B    789 hands per 13.5kg box
FOB Davao – to be given upon request
Option in buying:

1. FOB (bananas are packed in a 13.5kg box with registered brand – ready for packing).   We just need a container as the bananas are packed and is ready for loading.  We need a customs broker/forwarder to assist from booking to sailing, once the container reaches destination port until the consignee receives the bananas.
2. C&F (just add the shipping cost and other fees related to it)
3. Fruit Cost / Fruit Buying only –  I will help you buy the fruit directly from my grower contacts.   This means that I will coordinate with box manufacturer and supplier of other packing materials.  You need to rent a packing house and people to  pack the bananas.  If we do this, we may cut on cost and expenses. But  you need to pay my contact for the use of box with their brand and export license.
I can facilitate FOB or C&F (throgh the company I represent), or I can lead an importer/investor to the farm grower and provide feasibility study.  This is not as simple as it sound and if I will be entrusted, I will spare the importer/investor the hard work and risk involve.  But this won’t be as simple as setting a meeting or telling the location and contact details.  The reason I need support is I need to go first to the risky yet heart of Cavendish Farms in Davao Philippines.   It is my sincere service offer as I noticed that many importers and buyers suffered losses by doing trial and error and losing a lot of money along the way.
Below is the actual copy of the feasibility study I submitted to a particular importer base in Europe.  It turned-out very useful and profitable.
Below is the actual table of contents to answer all issues involve and gathered necessary information an importer/importer should know.  Such is also beneficial to concerned organizations and government agencies. The proponent chose what is used by a particular US government agency for feasibility study format and content.
Note:   I am also willing to make a video or power point presentation format, image bank, free website, etc.
If anyone is interested, I can be reach through my direct email:  denissalvatierra@yahoo.com
I am not limited to Philippines.  I can also go to India, China, Equador and/or other countries an importer is aspiring to import Cavendish Banana.  If given the support and assistance, I can do an actual survey for an importer or investor to spare them to dirty work and other hassles.  In return, I will do all the necessary survey from direct visit, pinpointing of direct farms and coming-up for a credible Feasibility Study.
I can also be entrusted to do a feasibility study for other agricultural products as Moringa propagation, Rice Trading, etc.
