Dear John…

Nicholas Sparks is superb!  I just can’t understand why many people who watched the film Dear John seems very disappointed.   Most pinpointed the changes done in the story to give way to Directorial treatment.  This could be the Director’s dilema when people first read the novel, especially if the author is as known as Nocholas Sparks.

In the past, Mr. Parks and the audience both thank the people behind the film for not changing the way the story was written.  This time the audience complaint of the changes or the director’s treatment.  Better watch the movie first, in fairness to the Director and those who made the film from screen writer to cast and crew.

The only real thing that kind of made me bummed was that they made tim older and made alan his son. They should have kept them brothers.
