Trials

We are in support of cancer patients and one of our beneficiary is a 31 year old lady with stage-3 Ovarian Cancer who is undergoing CHEMOTHERAPY.  The mother just lost her husband 9 months ago and talking to us every Sunday for strength.  I told the mother that I have nothing to offer because my wife is also under breast cancer treatment.  Nevertheless,  that I can try to finding donors even for the highly expensive medicines.    If you knew someone who can help, below is the actual prescriptions:

Below is the immediate requirement yet very costly.

If you can help or knew where we can solicit the medicines or any form of support, you can email me directly at denissalvatierra@yahoo.com

All I desire is to help save cancer patient lives within my reach yet lack financial capability to buy medicines or be treated.  I know how hard it is because my wife is also under treatment.  I thank God because I have earnings and I was able to solicit some of my wife’s medicines.  I am giving back by at least finding donors to a number of patients we help in our church.

International Christian Fellowship of Tagaytay

This church is above and beyond religious.

If you want to invest for a long term socially responsible group, this is the right institution.  If given the chance, I want to source support by finding funders and/or investor that is willing to fund a multi-functional building that can both house church service and events related to seminars, livelihood support, servicing cancer patients, support with people with disability, land enough to propagate farming, venue for museum, school and place of prayer and tranquility in the heart of Tagaytay City Philippines.  If you are interested, I can gladly refer you the head Pastor or provide you a business plan/feasibility study.

The project requires lot and a building.  It may sound impossible you won’t believe how fulfilling such endeavor and the congregation is willing to help hand in hand to whatever donation is to be given.

Purpose Driven Christmas Gift

Merry Christmas!

I went to Davao Philippines last October 19 til December 1, 2011 per request of a foreign client to facilitate and monitor a Cavedish Banana export deal.  The region is so rich in fruits, sea foods, mining mineral and other natural resources.  I stayed for more than a month hoping that I could brought income to my wife enough to finance her breast cancer treatment and give her a happy Christmas celebration.  Sadly, I got home bitter bankrupt because my chosen supplier got obsessed with the down payment and cheated me and my client by loading reject bananas instead of Class A export quality.  To make the story short, I went home broke with tons of debts because my client stop the sending of support.
I am still into Cavendish Banana Export but I now partner with new reliable cooperative-supplier.  But I could not believed that part of the region where I came was destroyed and devastated by a typhoon that passed through after I leave the place.  I was very  thankful because I am no longer in the island when the storm devastated the region.  In the contrary, I and my wife felt pity and sympathetic as large part of the region was unimaginably destroyed in a matter of hours.  You may have seen it on the news… hundreds have died helplessly and the residential and commercial areas have been wiped away by flash flood.

For Christmas sake… pls donate whatever support you can give.   Definitely I am going back but this time I hope I could bring donations with your support, to reach out to the affected .  As always, I will partner with local a church and non-governmental organization as I won’t pretend that I can make it on my own.  My skills in business plan and feasibility study, and my more than 15 years experience in the corporate sector including my voluntary experience in community service and rebuilding since 1986 will be very useful.   I could also design cheap convenient housing structure and my Civil Engineer and contractor brothers can assist (Photos and details of my community service and helping the less fortunate experience are available upon request).  Rest assured that I will provide accounting and reports with photos.

Pls click to link below if you want to help through reliable trustworthy Foundations…

or through me through direct support to communities with my skills in rebuilding through creation of jobs and community service…

Before the recent typhoon named, “Sendong”

in a matter of hours and a day after the storm…

Police use a rubber boat to evacuate residents from flooded regions
Rescuers paddle their boat to search for survivors after Typhoon Washi
Thousands of people have been homeless by the severe storm which leaves 625 people dead and hundreds missing
Philippine Red Cross said most victims of the disaster are women and children

I no longer desire extravagant Christmas celebration.  But if I receive donations, I will be delighted to be a channel through rebuilding the devastated communities within my reach.
You won’t believe how a simple kind of kindness would change lives and God will bless you for reaching out.

Peculiar Christmas gift

I can’t forget when one of my less fortunate co-employee told me how he wanted his daughter to have a guitar and Christian songs. Surprisingly, he passed away days later. While others brought flowers and money to his wake, I came with a guitar and a few Christian songs recorded. I have not uttered encouraging words or Bible verses but action truly speaks louder than words. It may not happen to most of us but I realized that the best Christmas gift is not wrapped items or money to well-off peers and family member. The best gift is help and hope to someone who could not even repay us out of desperation and poverty.

Hope this Christmas I could be a blessing to a cancer patients.

We Care for Cancer Patients

am formulating a Feasibility Study for a client but I stopped for a while to give way to an idea of establishing a Cancer Support Group.   I have to admit that I am starting from scratch as I have nothing except a vision and care.  The idea started when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer early this year.   Since then, I began to incubate care for the cancer patients as I found out how hard it is for them to go through that stage due to so many factors affecting them:

  • Required treatment and medications
  • Physical and emotional stress
  • Mental drain
  • Physical limitations
  • Complete diet shift from cooked to raw vegetables
  • Financial
  • Other factors

We are fortunate to find a Christian Church that truly cares.  Aside from prayers, my wife recently received financial donation in support of her medications and diet.  Although I am already in support of various ministries, the Pastor’s wife brought to our attention how she is burdened with the growing number of ill members’ medical and care needs, which concerns me a lot. I told her, “why not establish a care ministry for cancer patients?”  I smiled after that but the idea did not leave my mind till to this day.  I hope somebody out there would help and support this endeavor… we wish to help organize and find support for Cancer Care Group, who will not just pray but also raise funds for the benefit of cancer patients in and outside of the four walls of our church.  We are in Tagaytay Philippines and we need both an advise and support in any form.

Allow me to thank Optimox Corporation (manufacturer of “Iodoral” – cancer medicine/supplement) as they donated 12 bottles in support of my wife.  I also would like to thank  Breast Cancer Choices (non-profit organization) who donated 2 bottles of Iodoral. Out of those blessings we received, we shared a number of bottles to other breast cancer patients attending the same church we attend (International Christian Fellowship of Tagaytay). The countless blessings also comes from family and friends who supported us in any kind.  I know that God will bless them a hundred fold in His right time.

In the near future, my wife and I would like to ask the church board to allow separate Sunday School gathering for cancer patients and those will ailment.  I am also thinking of sponsoring other projects and programs as awareness seminar-workshop, livelihood, fund raising, art exhibit and partnering with Non Governmental Organization or other Local and International Cancer Care Group.

In this modern times, a cancer patient should not lose hope because there are number of options that provides treatment or cure whether it’s conventional/traditional or alternative/natural treatment and medicines.  We both accept medicines and sponsorship donations for either of the two.

Others:

Above is a juicer highly recommended for cancer patient as natural juice from fruits and vegetable is far greater than almost all food intake.   Another effective therapy is the coffee enema (please see and ask your Doctor about it).
